Invisalign

Invisalign is a clear brace system that aligns your teeth discreetly.

Getting started...

To begin, you will have a consultation and during this appointment we will assess your concerns, find out how you would like to change your smile and how we can improve the alignment of your teeth.

Following your consultation, your treatment will be digitally planned, this will accurately predict the movement of your teeth. A 3D digital scan of your teeth will be taken and you will be able to see a simulation of the final result. This allows you to see the improvement before you even commit to starting treatment.

The Process

Once you are happy to proceed, the aligners will be sent to the manufacturers. As soon as we receive them back to the clinic (around 3 weeks later) - we will see you again to ensure they fit correctly, and advise you on how to wear them and how often to change the aligners!

You’ll need to wear your Invisalign clear aligners for 20-22 hours per day for the best results, but this gives you ample time for eating, drinking, snacking, brushing, and flossing every day. You’ll change your aligners every 1-3 weeks, on average, depending on your specific needs. Your teeth will gradually shift into the appropriate place, and you can expect to see me for regular checkups every 6 weeks or so.

Why choose Invisalign?

Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible and can hardly be noticed when worn.

As the aligners are removable, you can also eat and drink whatever you like throughout treatment- this is not always the case with fixed braces that often result in dietary restrictions.

Oral hygiene can be easier to manage as the aligners needs to be removed when brushing , flossing and during hygiene appointments.

Brackets and wires are not used with Invisalign meaning less check-up appointments are required to make adjustments and check on progress.

After treatment...

Once your treatment with Invisalign is complete, we advise wearing a retainer to ensure that your teeth remain straight long-term and do not revert back to their original position.

What are the costs involved?

The cost of Invisalign is similar to the cost of braces— between £2,000 and £5,000, on average. How much your treatment will cost exactly will depend on your specific needs. We also offer in-house financing options with no added fees or interest rates (requires an initial deposit).
